Babar Azam is a talented cricketer from Pakistan who was born on October 15, 1994, in Lahore, Pakistan. He comes from a cricketing family, with his uncle, Javed Miandad, a former Pakistani cricketer and captain.

Babar Azam made his international debut for Pakistan in May 2015 in a T20I match against Zimbabwe. He then made his ODI debut against the same team in the same series. However, it was in 2016 that he really made his mark, scoring three consecutive ODI centuries against West Indies. He was also named the ICC’s ODI Player of the Year in 2019.

In addition to his success in ODI cricket, Babar Azam has also been a key player in Pakistan’s T20I team. He was appointed as the captain of the T20I team in 2019 and has since led Pakistan to several victories.
